Bartoli attended I'École des Beaux-Arts de Toulon. An intimiste painter, he painted with his fingers and achieved his subtle palette by mixing the three primary colors (blue, yellow, red).   He was represented by Galerie Drouant in Paris which showed his art internationally. His works can be seen in the Musée Granet in Aix-en-Provence, Nice and Menton.
