This lithograph is from a special issue of the "XXième Siècle" (20th Century) art magazine which was not included in the regular subscription. Along with "Derrière le Miroir" and "Cahiers d'art", "XXième Siècle" was one of the most popular and important French art reviews of the twentieth century. The review often commissioned an original work of art, as a collector's item, to be inserted into the magazine.
